Audience Feedback
The group of people i have showed the Thriller gave me feedback and said they really enjoyed it. They said that "It was really good and considering the fact that you's didn't have long to do it". They also made comments of the questions left by the opening and the enigma. They asked me what was going to happen next. They also comment on how much time and effort we put in to look good and look proffessional. They also said the filming location also created a really good atmosephere and fitted the theme. They said the exchange scene was a bit short and not enough lighting in it.

Evaluation Question 7
Evaluation Question 7
Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learned in the progression from it to the product?
Quality of image
In the thiller opening the camera quality is much better. We have use better lighting in our thriller opening to create an effect for the film and it looks better. Whilst in the preliminary task, we didn't take it into account and just ignored it. We also have the camera focused on the what we want the audience to look out rather than having everything we don't need in focus.
Quality Of Shot
In the preliminary task the video jumps straight in with the first shot of a high angle shot on a actors head. But in our opening of our thriller we start with out ident on screen. The second shot is a low angle of shot of someones legs. But the prelimnary task we use a eye line match. We have improved by positioning the camera in diffrent positions and using diffrent shots to keep the contunity of the film.
Quality of sound
n the preliminary task we had no music and had one Non-diegetic sound which was the a clock tic-toking and it wasn't in time and just looked and sounded horrible. But in the thriller opeing we used many diffrent diagetic sounds and we have choosen to play music throughout the opening.
Contiinuity editing
In the preliminary task we did not break the the 180 degree rule and we didn't do it in the thriller opening. In the preliminary task we used a eye line match but it doesn't look good. We used a bit of match on action but not as much as there wasn't many shots. Also the prelimiinary task didn't seem smooth and seemed like we didn't keep the continuity of the film. But in thriller we used Match-on-action and the film seemed smooth.
Continuity
We took more time and effort into diffrent costumes and props. Each character looks like they meet the role they are playing. For example our thugs support the steryotype. Whilst in the preliminary task we did not dress up and our main character did not look like a criminal. We also got to use diffrent props in the thriller opening that we didn't use in the preliminary task.
Evaluation Question 6
Evaluation Question 6
What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
I have learned to the diffrent types of camera shots such as tracking shot, wide shot, long shot ect. For example Long shot it to show the viewers as much of the scenery as you can. Tracking shot is when the camera followes whatever it is focused on, they uses this to draw the audience to make them feel apart of the film. Over the shoulder to show conversation or interaction between actors.
I have learned types of editing such as; the 180 degree rule. This is to keep continuity in the film and not confused the audience. I have also learned eye line match where you see a character looking at something then show what they are looking at. Another type of editing is match on action. This is where the one shot links into another.
I have also learned how to saftely and correctly use equipment. Before i never knew but now i do. I know how to operate a Boom mic, tripod and cam recorder. I also know how to set up and put away this equipment.
I have also had to use many diffrent software programs such as Premier pro and Photoshop. I used Photoshop to create the Ident for out thriller and Premier pro to edit it. Also i have had to use diffrent Internet sites such as Prezi, Blogger, popplet and Youtube. I know how to uses these in a proffesional mannor and gained the skills to use them effiently as i didn't know how to before. I know how to create Blogs and upload videos to Youtube, both things i have never done before.

Designing/making: Title Sequence
Designing/Making: Tile Sequence
The name of our film is called "The Collection", this is because during the film a collection deal is in place with a parcel. For the title sequence we used a black background and a white font. The font we use is ORATOR white. As the font is white and the background is black, the title stands out to the audience.
The title order:
1. Stone age studios presents
2. A film by James Casal
3. Starring Jack Fraser
4. Danny Canary & Jack Reardon
5. Directed By James Casal
Designing/making Ident
Designing/Making: Ident
Our ident was made using premier pro we took an image from Google of the evolution of the human being and decided to call it Stone Age Studios. we took a sound effect of a monkey screaming and used it as background noise, so when the film starts if the viewer is not pay attention the loud disorientating sound will catch the attention of the viewer. we used the name Stone Age Studios as the thought as the picture show the evolution of the human and it starts at the Stone Age we thought it went well.

Screening
Screening
This is my finished Thriller opening. I have showed my parents on my computer at home and aunt and uncle via Youtube app on my smart phone. I also showed out of school friends who play for my rugby club. It was the first time they have seen it and none of these people had any involvement in the film.
